Synopsis: Years ago, a young Pokémon trainer had a supernatural encounter in a house in Lumiose City. Now, he is in the city for the first time in a while, just remembered the events, and decides to return to the house...
Contains: giantess growth (normal sized to ~50 meters/~165 feet), playfully gentle giantess, nudity, breastplay and insertion.
With a quiet ping-sound, the elevator came to a halt, and its doors slid open. Without as much as a thought, he stepped outside into the hallway, onto the blue carpet with its tile pattern. He knew that on this floor, he would be able to find some offices, as it was all reserved for commercial use. Chances were, some of the workers would have some time to kill with a Pokémon battle, or be willing to part with some helpful goodies. The people of Lumiose City were generally pretty helpful to young trainers such as him.
Before he could however even take a step forward, he noticed that something was… off. The hallway was entirely empty, and though this was not necessarily out of the ordinary, he suddenly had the feeling that this was not how it was meant to be. He was all alone.
And yet not.
Without any warning, things went dark around him. It wasn’t a mere flickering of the lights, too: one moment, the sun shone in from the opposite end of the hallway, and the lamps were turned on. Then, it was black around him.
Then the lights were back.
Then the darkness was back.
When the lights returned after this, he had completely frozen up. Without turning around, he knew that something was behind him. A presence, observing him, evaluating him…
And then it moved. Still even unable to turn his head, his gaze darted to the corner of his vision – and then he saw her. A young, black-haired woman, about a head taller than him, wearing a dark purple, nearly black dress, with elaborate, spider web-like patterns on it. Not walking past him, but somehow floating, her head turned away from him…
She seemed to be flesh and blood, but he knew that she likely was not. Her head facing away from him, she floated a few meters in front of him, and stopped.
“No, you’re not the one…” a voice came, no doubt hers. But it was faint, nothing more than a whisper… and yet, filled with… regret? Sadness?
Still not turning around to face him, the apparition continued to float down the hallway, further and further away.
And then she was gone. Not just from his sight, but he could feel that she was not there any more.
Letting out a breath that he didn’t know he was holding, he dropped to his knees. Cold sweat was running down his skin, as his heart was racing. Inside of him, there was an absolute torrent of emotions, shock and fear chief among them. But somewhere beyond it all, there was one thought that still made itself known – this apparition, this woman… she had somehow seemed…
Beautiful.
“Excuse me, sir? We are nearly there.”
Calem opened his eyes. He was still sitting on the back seat of the taxi. Outside, he could see the lights of the nightly Lumiose City passing by.
“Ah. Thanks for telling me,” he answered, still feeling a bit sleepy.
It had been a rough day. Just a few hours ago, he had arrived at the port in Coumarine City, and that had been after an even longer boat ride all the way from Hulbury in Galar. But, these sorts of lengthy trips were just part of everyday life when you were the Pokémon League Champion of Kalos, and one of the most renowned Pokémon trainers worldwide. Entertaining as the tournament in Galar was, Calem was more than glad to be in his home country. Granted, he wouldn’t be home in Vaniville Town once the taxi arrived, but a room at hotel Richissime would do just fine. He really needed some more sleep.
While letting out a yawn, he reflected on the dream he just had. Really though, it wasn’t exactly a dream… all of these things had for a fact happened, so they were really more like memories than anything else. This had been several years ago, still a short while before he had defeated the then current league champion Diantha, and become champion himself. It was odd that he recalled it now, of all times. And it wasn’t even like it had been a nightmare – it had just been an… odd dream.
Suddenly, Calem perked up. What a coincidence… the taxi was just now passing the building where he had encountered the apparition. Without much of a thought in his head, he looked up and down the building as they drove past, his eyes scanning floors and floors of dark windows…
Except, they weren’t all dark.
Calem’s eyes widened. There, up on the fourth floor or so, one window was illuminated.
And the silhouette standing in it seemed awfully familiar.
Before he had the time to process this, or even look at the window for long enough so that he could be certain, the taxi was already past the building. For a brief moment, Calem considered calling out to the driver, telling him to let him out here – but decided against it. No need to make the taxi driver wonder what was going on here… he had probably just been imagining things.
A few minutes later, the car stopped in front of the hotel. Calem paid the driver, and turned down his offer to get the suitcase out of the back of the car. Instead, the champion pulled out one of his PokéBalls, and let out his Delphox, the fox Pokémon effortlessly lifting the suitcase with her psychic powers for her tired trainer. The moment the suitcase was retrieved, and the car was closed, the taxi drove off into the night.
The entrance hall of the hotel was, as to be expected, nearly empty. As he approached the reception, the woman working there did give him a bit of an unhappy look with a side glance to Delphox, but it was clear that at this time of the day, she didn’t want to make things needlessly complicated for a clearly tired trainer. Though he suspected that him being the champion might have had some sway in the matter.
Without paying much attention to anything, Calem got into the elevator, and made his way to his room. During this, Delphox was practically leading the way at times, due to him nearly falling asleep standing up. When he did enter the room, he barely paid attention to anything, and instead only went to brush his teeth, before turning the lights off, and letting himself fall onto the bed. Delphox curled up at the foot end, not as tired as her trainer, but also not averse to some rest herself. For his part, Calem didn’t care – he just wanted to sleep.
But, try as he might, he just couldn’t fall asleep. Oh, he was resting alright, but no matter for how long he lay, sleep simply wouldn’t come. He rolled over from side to side, laid on his back, his side, his stomach, but nothing seemed to do the trick. At best, he could just doze a little.
And all the while, as he lay there in the dark, his mind kept wandering back… back to the dream he had, the memory he relived.
And of course, the silhouette he had seen in the window.
The more he thought about it, the more curiosity started to get the better of him. As it was getting apparent that sleep was out of the question, he started getting ideas. The building where he had seen the apparition and the silhouette wasn’t too terribly far away… he could just go there and check.
With a sigh, Calem turned the lights back on. As if she had expected it, Delphox was already staring at him, her smart eyes giving him a knowing look.
“I really must be out of my mind,” he said to the fox Pokémon, reaching out to pet her on the head. “Going out to chase a ghost that scared me witless a couple of years ago, all because I can’t sleep. Well, are you with me?”
Delphox leaned in to the pats, and gave her trainer a look that was all too easy to read. She would be by his side.
Barely a minute later, Calem was dressed again, and leaving the room. On his way out, no one bothered or questioned him… though that might have been because no one else was around. Only the receptionist seemed a bit curious as he passed through the entrance hall, but said nothing.
The streets outside were likewise mostly empty. Though it being well past midnight usually didn’t mean much for the kind of activity you saw in Lumiose City, it seemed that he had arrived on a night where there really wasn’t much going on.
Not long after he had left the hotel, Calem and Delphox stood in front of the building. Unlike before, this time around all the windows really were dark – but he knew that his curiosity wouldn’t be satisfied if he turned around now.
He entered the building.
As a courtesy to young trainers exploring the region, a good number of buildings in the city were unlocked all day, having designated areas in them that were all but public. People of all ages were commonly encouraged to visit these places, chat, have a Pokémon battle, or share useful information or items that they might have. This place… Calem vaguely recalled it being some kind of… dojo? At any rate, it had an office space, which was accessible to the public, and several floors that were… well, not.
The moment he entered, he knew that he would find whatever he was looking for. There just was a strange… sensation of some kind, the inclination that something was off.
The exact sensation he had felt back when he had encountered the apparition all these years ago. It was almost odd that he recognized it right away, despite not having felt it in so long.
Beside him, Delphox shuddered. So whatever Calem was feeling, it wasn’t just his imagination.
“You alright?” he asked. “You can go back into your PokéBall, if you want...” The answer he got was a firm nod, the fox Pokémon clearly willing to stay by his side. “Then let’s what we can find...”
Out of instinct more than anything else, Calem headed towards the elevator. He recalled that last time, he had been on the second floor when it had happened. But whatever the reason, he got the feeling that this time, he should be heading to the… fourth floor?
He hesitated for a moment and then pressed the button. Almost painfully slowly, the elevator made its way upward. Though he likely appeared outwardly calm, Calem’s heart was beating faster with every passing second.
And then they arrived.
With a silent side glance to Delphox, he stepped outside.
The floor that he found himself on was rather similar to the one he had been on last time, though with the difference that this one seemed less… office-like. If anything, it seemed like that there were only apartments on this floor, with doors on the one side, and windows with a view of the nightly city on the other. Maybe the silhouette from earlier had just been an inhabitant who happened to look out at the city before heading to sleep?
Calem would have almost believed it, if the sensation hadn’t been stronger than ever.
He had barely taken more than a couple of steps into the hallway when it happened. Without any warning, there was total darkness around him. Then the lights were back. Then the darkness was back. Then the light was back, and he knew that she was standing behind him.
(At the same time, Delphox was gone – had she returned to her Poké Ball?)
In spite of his rushing heart, the cold sweat running down his body, the overwhelming feeling of… something, Calem also felt… oddly calm. Whether it was the fact that he had gone through this before, or that he had sought it out himself, he couldn’t tell. All he knew was that unlike last time, he had not frozen up.
Calem turned around.
Back when he had last encountered the apparition, he had still been in his teens, and not particularly tall. Since then, he had already become an adult – years ago, even – and gotten a decent bit taller. The apparition, or rather, the woman standing in front of him now was still taller than him, but not by as much as she had been before, standing only half a head taller than him. Due to his further travels since their last meeting, he also now recognized her as a Hex Maniac, trainers that found common ground by their appreciation for all things occult, which included gothic, witch-like fashion and a use of ghost-types. All too fitting then, that she was a ghost... or at least appeared to be one.
And if she was a ghost, she certainly had a striking figure for one. Though her dress (same as last time) wasn’t exactly form-fitting, it still made it clear that her body was… quite curvy, particularly around the chest. While Calem certainly liked what he saw, the overall effect was at first glance somewhat hampered by her face, sporting a mouth that was decidedly too wide, eyes that were just big enough for it to be lightly unsettling, and irises that were oddly swirly – and all this was coupled with an odd shadow falling over her face, which was just lightly illuminated by what appeared to be a slight purple glow coming from her eyes.
“What... no, who are you?” Calem managed to ask.
The Hex Maniac tilted her head, giving him a quizzical look. “You were here before… you were not the one. But… maybe you are the one now?” Her voice was a whisper, like a gust of wind in the air, somehow coming from her, yet at the same time not. “A test… yes, a test. A test to see if you’re the one…”
Calem let out a breath he hadn’t realized what he was holding. The longer this encounter lasted, the more he was getting… “used to it” probably wasn’t the best description, as there was no way that he could ever get used to to a situation like this, and the constant shivers it send down his spine. But they did lessen, and the fact that the apparition hadn’t vanished yet meant that he was getting somewhere. He had absolutely no idea where this somewhere was, but he would inevitably find out. A test? Well, this could only mean one thing.
“...Okay,” Calem said slowly. Then, he took a few steps back, not letting the Hex Maniac (who was still looking at him with this far too wide smile) out of his eyes. Once he had reached a distance that seemed appropriate, he reached for Delphox’ PokéBall and threw it, ready to start a battle.
But the PokéBall only fell to the ground without opening, making quiet thud as landed on the carpeted floor.
The Hex Maniac laughed. Just like her voice, it was a noise that seemed to simultaneously come from her, and everywhere around them, everywhere around him. It sounded as if there were dozens of her, just laughing. And something about it just seemed… wrong. Oh, the way it sounded to him was likely enough to get anyone who heard it scared, but to Calem, it only seemed fitting for the supernatural situation. No, what got him was that though she laughed at him, the apparition somehow didn’t actually sound malicious, or even like it was mocking him. She was just amused.
“No test with Pokémon…” she said, slowly shaking her head. “A test between humans… just me and you. Do you… accept?”
Calem remained quiet initially. Human? So was she actually human, or did she just consider herself to still be human? It was impossible to tell, and he knew that he would not get an answer if her were to ask her this question. As he thought about this, the Hex Maniac came closer to him – slowly walking, not hovering – with her right hand held out to him, palm side up. An invitation.
Then she stood in front of him again. Calem took a deep breath. If he refused, she would probably just vanish like last time, leaving him with just as many questions as he had started with, if not more. He had no idea what being “the one” meant to this apparition, and whether it was a good or bad thing. But if he wanted to find out…
“...I accept,” Calem said, laying his hand into the Hex Maniac’s – and to his own surprise, he actually did, when he had expected his hand to phase right through hers. Instead, skin touched against skin. And hers didn’t even feel odd: it wasn’t deathly cold, or like it was somehow draining him of his life force. It was just a hand.
And more than that: the moment his hand lay in hers and their fingers closed around each other, she suddenly yanked him forward, making him stumble forward right into the Hex Maniac’s embrace. If there had been any doubt about her being flesh and blood (or at least something supernaturally mimicking that) before, then these doubt were erased when two particular sets of flesh and blood on her body got squished against his chest. Before Calem could react, she had already pulled him into a hug… which she followed up by raising his head against hers, and pulling him into a kiss.
While the supernatural nature of this encounter and the sensation of initial unease hadn’t made him freeze up, this did. He was in shock, half starting to believe that he had somehow fallen asleep after all, and that this was a strange dream. Being approached like this by an attractive, if... odd woman certainly would have fit. Yet even when the initial shock wore off, Calem did not push back against the Hex Maniac’s hold on him, nor against her kiss. He just looked at her in disbelief, her closed eyes right in front and just a bit above his.
When a moment later, the Hex Maniac did pull back on her own accord, her face looked… slightly different. The swirls in her eyes were gone, and they were now a light blue. Similarly, her mouth, which had previously been so wide that it had reminded him of a Gengar’s grin now seemed… well, less so. But though these differences made her seem more like a normal person, there was still this facial expression of hers… this facial expression that made her seem more apparition than human.
“Hehehe… you like that, little man?” she asked, her voice still more ethereal than normal. Involuntarily, Calem cringed a little as she spoke her question. That sort of line had… specific connotations for him, ones that while generally positive… were also silly. And not what he would have expected the Hex Maniac to say.
“You like this… I can tell...” she meanwhile continued, grinding herself against him, breasts pressed against his chest. As she did, Calem came to realize that this had already lead to the inevitable: he had an erection. Instinctively, he cast a glance down – and saw that the Hex Maniac’s face wasn’t the only that had changed. The part of of her dress that to him had somewhat looked like a sweater was gone… showing pale skin beneath it, including a deep, dark cleavage.
“This was the easy part of the test… the beginning part…” the Hex Maniac went on. “Even someone who’s not the one could pass that part… but you can only pass the next part if you really are the one… this is the BIG part…”
She let go of him, and took a step back. At the same time, Calem’s mind was racing. Given her word choices, he had a feeling of what was going to happen next, but at the same time, it just seemed too unlikely, too impossible to him. Even now, after all the unexplainable things that had happened between him and this apparition, this woman, this still seemed like something too unlikely to occur.
Or to good to be true.
But it did happen.
The Hex Maniac kept walking slowly backwards, when suddenly an unusual kind of noise could be heard. It was like the stretching of fabric or leather, accompanied by tearing cloth, and a rumbling of sorts. Hearing this made it clear to Calem what was happening before he could actually notice it visually: she was getting bigger. She was growing.
Calem’s sleep-deprived eyes stared in disbelief as the Hex Maniac, who was already taller than him to begin with, began to surge higher. At the same time, her dark hair and dark choice of clothes clashed with the bright walls and lights of the hallway, the growing woman an expanding spot of darkness within it. Before long, she hit her head against the ceiling, not even flinching as she did. At the same time, the noise of her growth persisted… yet seemingly without any of her outfit actually tearing, growing along with her perfectly.
Undeterred by the space between floor and ceiling becoming more and more narrow for her, she leaned forward, giving Calem, who truly had frozen up again, an outstanding view of the dark cleavage between her dangling breasts pressing against her dress. And above them still was her face, wide-grinned, eyes fixated on him with an ominous purple glow.
“A better view… you need a better view…” the Hex Maniac said, sitting down as she did so, with standing becoming less and less feasible for her.
There was a rush of something dark – and before Calem realized what had happened, she had pulled him closer to her again, by this point only needing one arm to effortlessly keep him in place. Large, pale fingers wrapped around a bigger part of his body than he ever would have thought possible. “Hehehe… so small…”
Calem felt the blood in his body rush to all sorts of places as his mind began to process what now was right in front of him. The Hex Maniac’s body, enticing already before, was now akin to a soft mattress right in front of him… with… pillows that were not just inviting because he was tired. He wanted nothing more than to give in to the impulse of just not resisting altogether, snuggling up, and…
But she had other things in mind. The sound of glass breaking broke Calem out of his near-trance; a look to the side revealed to him that the Hex Maniac had used her free hand to break one of the nearby windows, making a huge hole in it.
Before he even had the chance to wonder why she did this, he already found out. She tossed him. One moment he was close to her – the next he was flying through the air. But just as panic was starting to set in, the fear of dropping to the floor from such a great height, Calem realized that… something was amiss. Though he was in the air, he was somehow not falling, seemingly held aloft by a strange teal glow that had begun to surround him. Whatever this force was, it moved him across the street at a not too fast pace, setting him down on the roof of one of the countless buildings in the centre of Lumiose City that all had the same height.
After the initial shock of being literally thrown out the window had died down, Calem took a look around himself. Everything around him, the entire city… it seemed off. Wrong. The lanterns were turned on, but no matter where he looked, he couldn’t see any person, or any car driving, yes, not even any light turned on in any of the buildings he could see. The city seemed just completely empty. And the sky… though it was still unmistakably night time, the clouds above seemed to be illuminated by a strange glow, appearing to be in almost a dark purple sort of colour.
The same colour as…
A massive crashing and crumbling sound made Calem turn around once again. The building he had just been in, the building that the Hex Maniac had thrown him out of… it was falling apart. Every single floor of it, every single piece of it, just crumbling into pieces, effortlessly destroyed in mere minutes.
And out from it, the Hex Maniac emerged – and she was huge. Bits and pieces of debris and nearly crushed furniture fell off her as she grew bigger than the building that had just contained her. Some of it got caught on her dress, but she just casually brushed it off, just as one would get out a bit of dirt that they had found on their clothing. Likewise, all the debris left on her head she just got out by leaning her head back and shaking it, as she ran her fingers through her long, flowing hair. With thuds that were loud even to Calem, these pieces landed on the ground. Lastly, she turned her attention to her cleavage, running her hand through it and removing anything that got caught there – and coincidentally, doing so in such a manner that Calem could see it quite well indeed.
Then she turned her attention to him.
The grin on her face grew wider. But… it was different than it had been before. While earlier, when he had just met her again, it had reminded him of a Gengar’s ghastly grin, it was now something altogether more human. Not as wide as before, not as mischievous before – or at least, not the same kind of mischievous. While it was hard for him to explain why he thought so, the impression he got from her was that she was… aroused by it all.
As was he.
In just a few steps, the Hex Maniac crossed the street, over to the building that Calem had landed on, where she remained still, looking down at him. Even though the building was twelve meters high – a random factoid that had been burned into his brain ages ago, because most the buildings in central Lumiose were built to be this high – it only came up to her hips, their gentle curvature to either of her side now more apparent to him than before as wider than a small house. Slowly, Calem let his gaze wander upwards, across her stomach, now a vast expanse of dark purple cloth… up to her enormous breasts, which partially obscured her face from his point of view.
“So tiny… so cute… did you enjoy the show?” the giantess asked, her voice booming across the city. At the back of his mind, Calem knew that he should have been thinking more about the state of it, where all the people and Pokémon could have vanished to. But at the same time, he was dimly aware that whatever was going on was all caused by her. And if he wanted to figure out what was going on, he would need to indulge her, which admittedly would not be hard, as she occupied all his thinking. “Even if you end up not being the one… I’m having fun…! Now, let me take a closer look at you…!”
